welcome
We have taught swimming for over ten years in Essex. We have a proven track record of successful teaching - combining teaching good swimming technique whilst ensuring children enjoy their time in the water.

Our lessons are held at Shenfield High School, Alexander Lane, Shenfield near Brentwood and The James Hornsby High School, Leinster Road, Laindon. All our teachers are ASA qualified, hold lifesaving qualifications and are fully covered by the appropriate insurances. They are supported by teaching assistants.

We have adult and child lessons. These lessons greatly benefit children’s early experience of water providing an enjoyable time and, of course, develop safety awareness. Our lessons range from beginners with early stroke development through to improvers and training sessions for the competent swimmer. We are able to offer private tuition. Adults are welcome to attend fitness swim sessions.

We limit class sizes to smaller groups to give maximum benefit to our training. Please contact Elaine Welsh on 01708-767203 for further information and the opportunity to view our work.

Lifesaving training at Shenfield High School

If anyone is interested in lifesaving, we have a club at 7pm on Wednesday evenings at Shenfield High School. All age groups are welcome. We are able to offer training for Royal Lifesaving Society exams. Gina Doyle, who many of you know as a swimming teacher, is our trainer / assessor. While learning how to carry out water-based rescues, you will be taught resuscitation and find your fitness improves.
